IQP Inspections and Reporting

With Independently Qualified Persons (IQPs) who are accepted by the Territorial Authority (local Council), we have staff who are appropriately qualified to undertake inspections and maintenance of buildings systems, specifically stated on a compliance schedule.

As approved IQP (Independent Qualified Person) service providers, we can manage all of your building warrants of fitness (BWoF) requirements. All IQPs must have a thorough knowledge of the Building Act 2004 and other legal obligations under the Building Warrant of Fitness regime.

Along with a BWoF, Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) is required under New Zealand Occupational Health and Safety (NZOHS).

Rest assured, Tansley Electrical offer a complete compliance and IQP service. With over 90 staff covering the Otago, Central Otago, and Southland areas, working out of Dunedin, Queenstown, and Invercargill, we’re well placed to get your building sorted. Get in touch today.
